Who We Are:
Founded in January of 2003, Clan Dream Evil is a unit designed to play Mechwarrior 4: Mercenaries with honor as a single unit group. What we mean by this is that no warrior, not even the founder, has more say than any other player. Naturally this means that no member will hold ranks. What this also means is that no member moves as a single unit running for the glory of kills into the fray. We stand and move as a single unit and rely on coordination and strategy in combat rather than heavy armor and massive guns. This clan is designed for people who enjoy the Battletech universe and wish to align themselves with others who fight for the love of battle rather than the love of explosions. What We Aren't
Turrets With Legs: I never understood this. How fun is it to be in an 80 foot mech and stand perfectly still except to swivel back and forth and pick shots at moving targets? Now there is nothing wrong with waiting for an opponent from a strategic position, but a cluster of mechs on opposing hills firing PPC's and missiles back and forth makes as much sense as battles during the colonial times.
Cowardly: Okay this is debatable. It just sounds better than 'cheap.' We frown on people who leg, as this puts the assailant at an advantage and takes the skill out of the battle. We also greatly discourage the excessive use of RAC's, pulse lasers, and chained missiles for a similar reason. An opponent who can't see straight to fire back is no longer a true opponent. There are others and of course there are situations which are iffy either way, but it's easiest to think of it as a 'do unto others...' situation.
Bitchy: I'm sure others feel the same way that we must listen to enough whining from people around us every day, our recreational activities shouldn't be the same way. If something doesn't go your way, either find some way to work it out, or deal with it for the time being until a solution is provided. Remember, patience is a good thing.

Respectful: Respect amongst your fellow clans is a given. Amongst the clan we are all equals regardless of skill. This clan is based off of the idea that each clan member can get along with the others and therefore keeping us as a single unit. I'm not saying 'love' everybody... I'm saying respect them for what they have to say and the skills they may bring to the field. This ALSO applies to your enemies. Incredible or horrible, treat each opponent as an equal on and off the battlefield. Snide remarks are unacceptable. Remember, we all started somewhere and somewhere along the way, somebody's made us blow.
Honorable: This goes along with the cowardly. Hold yourselves well. We may all go down with negative scores, but we're going to get up, dust ourselves off, congratulate the opposing team, and move off to train some more.
New Recruits
Now that I've shown my 'full of myself' asshole side... I'm really not that bad of a guy. I joke around... more than I should and play for love of the game and the world that it's based around. I started this clan to find people with the same interests to fight and laugh with. If you can live by Clan Dream Evil's code of ethics, then there isn't much else to discuss. I don't recruit based on skill. All skills can be improved with time and practice, but good people are harder to come by.
